Keith is a senior tax manager at Jansen Valk Thompson Reahm PC, a Certified Public Accounting firm in Kalamazoo that prides itself on technical expertise while providing a relationship-focused work environment for its employees.
Keith has spent the 9 years of his public accounting career in a variety of different areas, including taxation of domestic and international businesses and individuals, auditing & accounting services, payroll taxes, and aiming to be a consistent source of entertainment to his co-workers.
Keith currently specializes in international tax matters for both businesses and individuals, such as entity structure, issues specific to US-Canada cross-border transactions, and the significant changes to the international tax arena in taxation, tax planning, and compliance with the passage of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Steve Wegener is a director in PwC’s international tax services group located in Detroit. For the past eleven years, he has focused on US international taxation, including cross-border tax planning, foreign tax credit planning, non-US market expansion, global tax compliance, and the foreign account tax compliance act (“FATCA”).
Steve is an International Tax Director with 11 years of public accounting experience. Steve has focused his career exclusively on international tax matters, and he has diverse international experience in a variety of issues and industries.
Steve designs and implements tax-efficient global structures that include holding and financing company planning, value chain transformation, intellectual property planning, cash repatriation and redeployment strategies, U.S. tax attribute planning, and U.S. foreign tax credit optimization. Steve also has extensive experience with tax efficient acquisition planning and integration.
Steve has a BA with high honors in accounting and an MS in accountancy from Michigan State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Michigan and Texas.
